Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Leasing Manager to join our Specialist Finance Team at Close Brothers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing new business introductions, sourcing and establishing new introducer relationships, and overseeing transactions from proposal to pay-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing broker and introducer relationships to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Establish new sources of business through intermediaries such as finance brokers, corporate finance advisors, and accountants.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new business proposals to establish credit appetite and collaborate with introducers to structure and price transactions.
  • Visit customers to collect relevant data and conduct due diligence, dealing with senior stakeholders within the business.
  • Prepare credit applications and present them to the CBAFL board for approval.
  • Oversee the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation and the pay-out process.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience working within the UK middle ticket leasing market, ideally in a senior sales role.
  • Strong understanding of complex transactions (£500k to £5M) through intermediaries.
  • Excellent credit analysis skills with a thorough understanding of structuring, pricing, and commissions.
  • Highly motivated with strong organisation skills and excellent communication skills to build effective working relationships.
  • A valid UK driver's license is required.
