About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Surgical Admissions Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing the admission process for patients undergoing general surgery procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients into theatre lists, ensuring that all necessary information is available and that the surgeon's requirements are met.
  • Manage waiting lists and theatre lists, ensuring that patients are admitted in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all necessary information is shared and that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and accurate information about their admission and treatment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of hospital systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
