About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our Primary Care Careers team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to our busy practice, working closely with our clinical staff to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the efficient running of the practice, including secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the team.
- Enter and retrieve patient information and medical data into our clinical system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Scan and record patient information, including medical documents and hospital records, as necessary.
- Retrieve paper notes and photocopy documents as required.
- Deal with referrals to primary care and action tasks set by clinicians and the practice manager.
- Process practice post and emails, and review and summarise medical records.
- Register new patients and cover reception as and when required.
- Handle phone enquiries efficiently and provide a high level of customer service.

Person Specification
We are looking for an experienced medical administrator with excellent IT and typing skills, who is adaptable and friendly, with strong administration, time management, and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work in a confidential and discreet manner, and able to 'think on their feet' in a busy working environment.
