We are seeking a talented Senior Research Associate to join our team at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the development of land use intervention scenarios that meet UK net zero, biodiversity and food security targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in land use change, land use management, climate change or scenario development and will be responsible for identifying, extracting and collating existing land use interventions applicable in the UK. A salary of £45,163 per annum (pro rata) is available for this position.

About the Position

  • Support the development of land use intervention scenarios
  • Identify, extract and collate existing land use interventions applicable in the UK
  • Coordinate the project's engagement with policy and land management stakeholder organisations
  • Work on the Open_LAND project associated with the UKRI Land use for net zero, nature & people (LUNZ) hub
