Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at D R Newitt & Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the processing of raw materials to create finished products in accordance with established specifications
- The packing of cooked or raw product into sealed retail ready packaging
- Thermal processing of raw product in accordance with the Company HACCP plan
- The packing of cooked product into retail ready modified atmosphere packaging
- To continually improve processes and standards within the facility
- Uphold Quality Standards throughout the factory
- Quality Checks on goods produced
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the Food Manufacturing sector
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Exposure to BRC and HACCP standards desirable
Pay: £15.24 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 5.30am – 5.30pm, 10.5 hours per day + 1.5 hour unpaid breaks
