Special Educational Needs Teacher

Job Overview:
Aspire People is seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN setting in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with a proven background in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students in Years 3 and 4.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Managing and supporting pupils with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.
- Collaborating with support staff and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching in SEN settings, with expertise in SEMH, SEND, and ASC.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience in planning for mixed-ability groups.
- Effective classroom management skills.
