About the Opportunity

This is an exciting time to be joining our hospital, proud of its 'Good' CQC rating and offering a range of complex services, including Neuro, Spinal, Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Oncology, and more. Our well-equipped hospital features 200+ beds, a 20+ bed ITU, 4 operating theatres, and 38 consulting rooms. Our world-class Radiology department boasts the latest diagnostic technology and equipment.

About the Role

  • Oversee and deliver high-quality care within the Critical Care and ITU units.
  • Respond to urgent medical needs, including airway management as required.

Your Background and Skills

To succeed in this Deputy Head of Resident Doctors role, you'll need:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Bayes EMML Fellowship or willingness to undertake this.
  • Medical training within Critical Care/Anaesthetics.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, clinical education, training supervision, and managing a diverse team.
