We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our medical team at The London Clinic in Central London. This is a competitive opportunity with a salary up to £82,800 per annum.

About the Role

As an ICU Clinical Fellow, you will work closely with all medical, nursing and other appropriate staff to provide exceptional care to critically sick patients at The London Clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement patient care plans within the ICU as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Recovery, Anaesthesia, Radiology, and Endoscopy to ensure effective patient management.
  • Provide 24-hour airway support for the ICU and other hospital areas in emergency scenarios.
  • Offer emergency care for deteriorating patients on wards or in clinical areas, working collaboratively with resident doctors and ITU Outreach services.
  • Review and document patient plans, ensuring consultants are informed of changes in condition and agree on new treatments.

Requirements
  • Competency in intubation, emergency airway management, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, and complex airway management.
  • Proficiency in mechanical ventilation techniques, continuous renal replacement therapies, arterial and venous line insertion, chest drain insertion, and ultrasound use.
