About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programmer to join our team at Rebellion, a leading independent game developer. As a key member of our tech team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our in-house game engine, Asura.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and test new audio features in the engine, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality performance.
  • Develop and maintain tools for designers to author content, streamlining the development process and enhancing collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to develop new features and identify issues, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Work with other teams to meet their game development needs, ensuring a cohesive and efficient development process.
  • Research and evaluate new game audio technology, staying ahead of the curve and driving innovation in our field.
  • Champion audio excellence within the company, promoting best practices and driving quality across all projects.
Requirements
  • Professional C++ experience in a games studio environment, preferably AAA.
  • Strong C++ programming ability, with a keen interest in audio or tools programming.
  • Previous proprietary C++ engine experience is highly desirable.
