Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Relationship Manager to join our team at Hdfc Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Business Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the agricultural sector, building relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Delinquency / Rotation & Recovery / Housekeeping: Monitor and manage delinquency rates, ensure timely recovery of dues, and maintain accurate records.
  • Farmer Education and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate farmers on various products and services offered by the bank.
  • Increased Penetration and Cross Sell: Promote and sell additional products and services to existing customers, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development of SO/HBL: Provide training and guidance to sales officers and other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Relationship with Retail Branches and Other Stakeholders: Collaborate with credit teams, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or sales experience in the agricultural sector.
  • Skills: Strong sales and influencing skills, knowledge of banking products and processes, planning and organizing skills, communication skills, and knowledge of competition and current trends in the financial industry.
