About the Role

The Structural Engineer will be part of the design team, reporting to the Engineering Director. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to the sales and business development team on qualified enquiries.
  • Reviewing enquiries and developing concept designs, costings, and specifications for tender preparation.
  • Developing fully detailed designs for successful projects, considering site erection processes and Eurocodes requirements.
  • Producing calculations to satisfy building control and CE marking requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registration with a relevant professional body.
  • Experience in structural design, particularly in steel and aluminum.
  • Familiarity with Tekla Structural Designer design software.
