Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Indirect Buyer to join our team at Haas F1. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping category strategies, sourcing, and delivering quality goods and services within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions for products and services.
  • Operate within budgets and achieve agreed procurement cost saving targets.
  • Ensure operational targets and key performance indicators are achieved for Indirect products and services.
  • Lead contract negotiations with external vendors for indirect products and services.
  • Analyze cost, quality, lead time and supply risk to determine parts which can be sourced elsewhere to improve supply.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or other professional qualification; and/or significant experience in complex and fast-paced procurement environments.
  • Proven ability to negotiate terms and conditions independently, with the knowledge of when to seek legal advice.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a natural ability to recognize effective deals.
  • Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.
