Job Overview

Vision for Education - Teesside Primary and York is seeking a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our inclusive school environment.


About the Role

This full-time position involves working across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), providing tailored support to children with diverse SEN needs. The role requires a compassionate and adaptable approach, ensuring a positive impact on students' educational journey.


Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to children with SEN, facilitating their learning goals and overcoming educational challenges.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and classroom management, promoting a seamless learning experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Experience working in an SEN setting, particularly with KS1 and KS2 children.
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
