About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Worker to join our team at Exceptional Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care to young people aged 8-17.

Your role will involve mentoring and supervising new team members, conducting regular supervisions, and updating on progress or difficulties related to staff or young people. You will also act as a key worker for specified individuals, taking responsibility for their care and support needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure that each young person receives comprehensive support and care. Your expertise in managing challenging behavior and emotional difficulties will be invaluable in this role.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience supporting young people in a children's residential setting
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (preferred)
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £12.60 per hour, plus a £60 sleep-in rate (2on 4off shift pattern). In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including comprehensive induction training, consistent support and development opportunities, and a pension scheme.
