About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Arts Program Manager to join our team at the Hunter Writers Centre Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, coordinating arts programs and initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills are also essential, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing and implementing programs that align with our strategic goals, and evaluating their success using feedback tools. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the arts and community sector, with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement arts programs that align with our strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to ensure consistent branding across all channels.
  • Manage program budgets efficiently, ensuring effective use of allocated funds.
  • Evaluate program success using feedback tools and refine offerings based on participant feedback and engagement metrics.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Arts Management, Community Development, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in arts program coordination or project management within the arts or community sector.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools, including Excel, and digital communication platforms.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
