Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of £32,000 - £38,000. The role involves processing and approving invoices, monitoring disbursements, and performing payment runs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Processing and approving invoices to ensure correct coding
• Monitoring disbursements and posting to specific matters on the portal
• Processing payments and referral fees
• Approving office payment requests (disbursements)
• Reconciling Counsel Fees as per what is posted to the ledger
• Performing payment runs and ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds
• Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, handling and resolving queries
• Reconciling staff expenses
• Assisting with month-end close activities, including reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing accruals
• Supporting and training junior staff, including overseeing and correcting work where required
• Ad-hoc reporting on accounts payable
• Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed

Requirements:
• Strong accounts payable experience
• Previous experience overseeing / supporting junior team members
• Experience using accounting systems (Chrome River highly desirable)
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to hit the ground running, learning new processes quickly
• Ability to recognize opportunities for process/systems improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
