About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Imaging Physics team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive scientific support in the fields of radiological imaging, radiation protection, and medical physics.

Key responsibilities will include assisting in the provision of radiation protection and scientific support to diagnostic and interventional radiology departments, as well as contributing to the teaching and training activities of the group. You will also have the opportunity to undertake work on research and development projects.

Key Requirements
  • Good Honours degree in a relevant subject
  • Relevant MSc or higher degree
  • IPEM Diploma or Certificate of completion of STP in Medical Physics
  • Registered Clinical Scientist
  • Corporate Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with radiation protection and medical physics
