Job Opportunity in Imaging Physics

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Imaging Physics team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive scientific support in the fields of radiological imaging, radiation protection services, and artificial optical radiations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and analysis of diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Develop and implement radiation risk assessments and quality assurance protocols
  • Collaborate with the University of Oxford to provide training and education to staff
  • Support the use of ionising and non-ionising radiations in a safe and correct manner
Requirements
  • Good Honours degree in a relevant subject
  • Relevant MSc or higher degree
  • IPEM Diploma or Certificate of completion of STP in Medical Physics
  • Registered Clinical Scientist
  • Corporate Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to use Excel, Word, and Access
  • Experience in presenting scientific papers at national and international conferences
