About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at the London Borough of Redbridge. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality, accessible curriculum across our school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in delivering a high-quality curriculum to students with varying needs
  • Provide individualized support to students, including those with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support

Requirements

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with young people in an educational environment
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
  • High expectations of learning and behavior
