Specialist SEMH Support Worker

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Specialist SEMH Support Worker to join a warm and welcoming school in Havant.
This rewarding role will involve working closely with students to help them build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies to promote student well-being.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student.
- You will work closely with the teaching team to deliver high-quality support that enhances the learning experience for all students.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification, such as CACHE Level 2/3, is desirable but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
