Job Description:

As a Primary Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Key Stage 2. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualised support to students with ASD, using strategies and techniques to engage them in learning activities.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with ASD.
  3. Communicate regularly with parents/carers to keep them informed of progress and any areas of concern.
  4. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting students with ASD.
