The Harris Federation is a not-for-profit charity with 25 years of experience in education, providing students with the best possible learning environment.
- Administering first aid to students and staff as the named responsible officer for all first aid matters.
- Delivering medical care tailored to individual students' needs, as defined within their Statements of Additional Needs.
- Coordinating student medical examinations, assessments, and inoculations programs.
- Providing training and guidance to Academy staff on specific procedures they may need to carry out in an emergency.
- Promoting health education through collaboration with teaching and support staff.
- Maintaining effective communication with parents and medical professionals to ensure student health needs are met.
- Sourcing and managing sufficient stocks of first aid supplies and equipment.
- Complying with current Child Protection Procedures and liaising with the designated Child Protection Officer.
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive medical information.

- A proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
- Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and management information systems.
- Experience working with children aged 11-19.
