Acorn Recruitment is seeking a skilled Estates Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months. As an Estates Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and supervision of the departments Engineering, Building, and maintenance teams. Your key responsibilities will include managing and supervising both directly employed and contract staff working on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and building systems. You will also ensure that all electrical work complies with prevailing regulations, including the supervision of direct labour or contracted services involved in the delivery of minor works schemes on site. Additionally, you will participate in an 'On Call' system for Estates management staff, providing a 24-hour rapid response to any emergency calls. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH health & safety qualification or equivalent, and be qualified in line with 18th edition electrical regulations. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of \u00a310 per hour, with the possibility of participating in the department's rostered emergency on-call service.
