Job Summary
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Foster social interaction and encourage clients to participate in activities they enjoy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client dignity and autonomy.
  • Report any concerns or issues to your supervisor promptly.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive hourly rate of €15.50 (€14.00 depending on experience).
  • Overtime pay for extra shifts and bank holidays.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with clients.
  • Be reliable, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative when needed.
  • Related care experience is desirable.
  • Completion of QQI level 5 Healthcare modules, specifically Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
  • Patient moving and handling certification (training provided if necessary).
