Accounting and Administrative Support Associate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Maidenhead. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience in an Accounts Payable role. This position plays a critical role in the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process supplier invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Payment Execution: Assist in preparing and executing weekly/monthly payment runs for vendors and employee reimbursements.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors by addressing any payment-related inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Transaction Recording: Accurately record AP transactions in the accounting system and reconcile supplier statements to internal records.
  • Expense Monitoring: Monitor and report company expenses to ensure they align with budgeted amounts.

The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable or a related finance role (minimum of 1 year preferred).
  • Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Software Familiarity: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
