Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bid Content Specialist to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a Bid Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality proposal documents, managing the submissions process, and contributing to the bid team at key stages of individual tender projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write high-quality proposal documents, including producing, coordinating, and editing written content
  • Manage the submissions process, ensuring all proposals are prepared in line with tender programme requirements
  • Contribute to the bid team at key stages of individual tender projects, gathering technical information from internal departments to compile and ensure a high-quality bespoke solution is offered to the client
  • Participate in storyboarding and development of strategic themes, ensuring all proposals are aligned with company bid management standards
  • Proofread material and provide technical and commercial writing skills to ensure submissions are of the highest quality
  • Assist with development of bespoke proposals, best practice information, technique guides, template answers, and style sheets
  • Build and develop relationships with key business sector teams, ensuring all submissions are produced in line with identified deadlines
  • Analysis and review of previous submissions and document learning for implementation in future bids
  • Produce promotional/marketing materials and award submissions, managing the submission content as part of the wider bid process
  • Assemble and shape construction information into compelling submissions, write and edit pre-qualification documents, and write and edit capability statements and expression of interest documents
  • Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content, create and edit presentations, capture and collate evidence to support submissions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in the construction industry producing proposals and bids
  • Experience of frameworks would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Talented individuals from outside the construction industry are welcome to apply
  • Ability to work on complex, high-profile schemes, and test yourself in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Opportunity to learn and develop skills, work as part of a wider pre-con team, and get experience of working with bid managers, estimators, design managers
