Job Title: Bid Writer

We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality proposal documents that showcase our client's expertise and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write winning proposal documents, including producing, coordinating, and editing written content
  • Manage the submissions process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposals
  • Collaborate with the bid team to gather technical information and compile high-quality bespoke solutions for clients
  • Contribute to the development of strategic themes and storyboarding
  • Ensure all proposals meet tender programme requirements and are aligned with company bid management standards
  • Provide technical and commercial writing skills, including proofreading and editing
  • Assist in the development of bespoke proposals, best practice information, technique guides, template answers, and style sheets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business sector teams
  • Produce high-quality documents and submissions in line with identified deadlines
  • Analyze and review previous submissions to implement learning and improvements in future bids
  • Produce promotional and marketing materials, as well as award submissions
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the construction industry, with a focus on proposal writing and bid management
  • Strong technical and commercial writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze and review previous submissions to identify areas for improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
