Radiology Department Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Radiology Department Assistant. As a key member of our department, you will provide essential support to our radiographers, sonographers, and doctors, ensuring the highest quality of care and imaging for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide non-technical support in the Radiology Department, specifically for CT and MRI services at the Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC).
• To supervise patients in the Radiology department and provide general assistance to the radiographers on duty.
• To ensure patient safety during movement or transfer on and off radiology couches using safe handling devices when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in healthcare, ideally with customer service skills.
• Basic IT skills, with training provided in specialized areas within the Radiology Department.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
