We are seeking a proactive HSE Manager to drive change and develop the safety culture at our site in Royston, Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing the HSE strategy across the site, driving cultural change, and bringing HSE to the forefront.

The Role of HSE Manager:

  • Create, develop, and implement the HSE strategy across the site
  • Be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
  • Drive cultural change, bringing HSE to the forefront
  • Catch and manage senior stakeholders to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
  • Ensure standards are met and continually improved upon
  • Development and monitoring of HSE Management systems
  • Catch and develop a HSE Advisor

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a NEBOSH General minimum qualification
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with chemical experience
  • A desirable NEBOSH Diploma or IEMA Qualification
  • Possess a personality that engages others, drive, and a hands-on approach
  • Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£70,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits.
