About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supervising Social Worker to join our Fostering Team.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Job Summary:

  • To work collaboratively with foster carers and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.
  • To provide expert guidance and support to foster carers in meeting the needs of children in their care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit foster carers regularly to assess their needs and provide guidance.
  • Attend child in care reviews, risk assessment meetings, and present to foster panels.
  • Conduct unannounced visits to ensure the well-being of children in care.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is required.
  • Passion for improving children's lives and success in complex situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think creatively.
  • Strong partnership working skills and willingness to try new approaches.
  • Essential IT skills and a full clean driving license with a car.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible contracts available (37, 30, or 18.5 hours).
  • $40.00 per hour umbrella rate (PAYE payment options also available).

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
