Job Title: Social Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Social Care Specialist to join our team at Devon County Council. As a key member of our Social Care team, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments and interventions with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their social care needs
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans to address identified needs
• Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments and interventions

Requirements:
• Significant experience in social care, preferably in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using computerized case recording systems
