Education Support Specialist

**Job Overview:** Vision for Education - Sheffield is seeking an Education Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the education of students in a Secondary school setting.
**Job Description:** The successful candidate will lead lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher, covering a range of secondary school subjects. You will facilitate the class's learning, manage classroom behavior, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.

**Requirements:** We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Adaptability, flexibility, motivation, confidence, and a passion for education and supporting young people are essential qualities for this role.
**Training and Development:** A comprehensive Cover Supervisor Training Programme will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
**Salary and Benefits:** The estimated salary for this role is £22,500-£26,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training.
