About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled District Retail Merchandiser to join our field marketing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for filling coverage gaps across a defined district, visiting multiple retail outlets to fulfill district and regional targets.

Our District Retail Merchandiser will work across a variety of categories, including Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys. You'll ensure that fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: You'll adhere to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.

Requirements:

  • Happiness to travel across the defined area.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for business purposes.
  • Experience of merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
