About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Informed Solutions Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the planning, design, development, and execution of tests to assure high-quality software solutions.
  2. Take responsibility for Quality Assurance of small services or parts of larger services across all stages, in-line with best practice.
  3. Build effective working relationships with client counterparts in your practitioner domain.
  4. Help structure and provide assurance for the work of other Quality Assurance practitioners.
  5. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines for supporting ongoing software quality assurance.
  6. Work with Engineering, User-Centred Design, Service Operations, Delivery Management, and Data Science practitioners to achieve objectives and successes within multi-disciplinary teams.
  7. Play an active role in the Engineering discipline, driving innovation, application of best practice, and contributing to Community of Practice events.
Requirements
  1. Experience working in Quality Assurance across the software development lifecycle, including both functional and automated testing.
  2. Experience working with Cloud-based solutions and technologies (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
  3. Experience working in an agile and Continuous Integration based environment (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
  4. Willingness to maintain relevant, up-to-date practitioner skills through continuing professional development and training, including accreditations/certifications.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  1. Experience working in a professional services/consultancy environment preferred.
  2. Experience taking responsibility for Quality Assurance on small projects or parts of larger projects.

  1. A hands-on problem-solver, demonstrating commitment to software quality.
  2. Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
  3. Able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.
