About the Role

We are seeking a talented Development Scientist to join our dynamic team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our In-Vitro Diagnostic Development team, you will play a critical role in the creation and refinement of novel diagnostic methods.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize new methods for in-vitro diagnostic applications, focusing on biochemical, bioassay, or microbiological techniques.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate performance and feasibility of new diagnostic products.
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IVD technology and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (BSc or Master's) in Biochemistry, Biomedical, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in the development of new methods for in-vitro diagnostics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to innovate and think creatively.
  • Proficiency in designing experiments and interpreting data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the IVD industry is a plus.
