We are seeking an experienced and motivated midwife to join our dedicated private maternity team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife in our private maternity unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and deliver an above-and-beyond patient experience while embracing our Trust values.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate antenatal clinics, antenatal education, and community postnatal visits for low-risk women who have chosen private midwifery-led care.
- Work closely with obstetric consultants on the Kensington Wing (Private Maternity Unit) to deliver high-standard midwifery care to patients.
- Maintain and develop up-to-date evidence-based professional knowledge and competence in accordance with NMC legislation and recommendations.
- Implement Trust policies and protocols, utilizing significant discretion to work within defined parameters and ensure all care is carried out within agreed standards and policy.
- Practising midwife with previous experience.
- Evidence of a commitment to post-registration education and achievement of all preceptorship programme competencies.
- Previous comprehensive midwifery experience in all areas of midwifery.
- Experience of providing care in a Birth Centre or low-risk maternity unit.
As a midwife in our private maternity unit, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing team, providing exceptional patient care and delivering an above-and-beyond patient experience. You will also have access to ongoing education and training, as well as opportunities for career development and progression.
