We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Securities Services team in Edinburgh. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and embedding of change within the team.

About the Role:
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, process analysis, and requirements workshops.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional business requirements.
  • Work independently and with users to define requirements under the direction of a project manager and/or senior business analysts.
  • Leverage strong analytical and product management skills to build a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into applicable operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with implementation teams, technology teams, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
  • Conduct impact assessments, gap analyses, and root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
