We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Beacon View Primary Academy. As a Nurture Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our pupils and contributing to the school's mission to provide a life-changing education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary education and experience in working with pupils who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff, and contributing to the overall ethos of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of pupils with ACES
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
  • Support the inclusion of pupils with special needs and from diverse backgrounds
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to pupils
  • Assist with the management of pupil behavior and conduct
  • Contribute to the development of pupil progress and achievement
Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working with pupils who have experienced ACES
  • Strong background in primary education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to the school's mission and values
