Civil Design Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Calibre Search Ltd. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative and practical engineering solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design team to create effective engineering solutions.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and monitor progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools effectively to optimize design processes.

The successful candidate will have a BEng in Civil Engineering and at least 3+ years' experience working in a design consultancy environment on Commercial and Industrial projects. The package for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits, with free parking and hybrid working from home available.
