Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Newark. As a key member of our mixed civil/structural engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and solutions for a wide range of projects across the architectural, structural, civil, and sustainability engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers on multiple live projects, managing project finances and company marketing to a high level.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and project proposals.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant UK experience in highways/drainage/utilities/infrastructure/structural design.
  • Experience with design in multiple materials and analysis and design of varied building forms.
  • Competent in either field, in either highways/drainage/infrastructure design or structural design.
