Quality and Technical Leadership Opportunity
Zest is seeking an experienced Assistant Technical Manager to join our technical team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the Quality team, leading external visits, and driving improvements within technical and quality.

Key Accountabilities
You will be responsible for managing the Quality team, leading and supporting external visits such as BRC and retailers, deputising for the Technical Manager, and driving improvements within technical and quality to meet targets. You will also maintain relationships with existing customers and suppliers, report directly to the technical manager, and oversee site hygiene functions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of BRC and retailer standards, previous experience leading and developing your own team, knowledge of HACCP, and relevant qualifications such as BRC or Internal Auditing qualification. A degree in food science or a relevant field is also desirable.
