Job Title: Clinical Lead Nurse

Job Summary:
Willings Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to take on a pivotal leadership role within our nursing home. As the Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the nursing team to ensure the highest standard of care for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the nursing team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Oversee and coordinate the care planning process for residents, ensuring individual needs are met through personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and care needs, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices, including safeguarding and infection control.
  • Mentor and train nursing staff to continually improve care delivery and clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes for residents.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, addressing concerns and providing clear communication and education.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home environment.
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in long-term care.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff.
  • Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care with a commitment to upholding residents' dignity and well-being.
