Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the nursing team to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Oversee and coordinate the care planning process for residents, ensuring individual needs are met through personalized care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and care needs, making necessary adjustments to care plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices, including safeguarding and infection control
  • Mentor and train nursing staff to continually improve care delivery and clinical standards
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes for residents
  • Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, addressing concerns and providing clear communication and education
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall care delivery

Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in long-term care
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff
  • Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care with a commitment to upholding residents' dignity and well-being
