Technical Sales Leader

Anstar Ltd is a rapidly expanding company in the speciality chemical distribution space, seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and cultivate strong relationships with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business development, pursue new opportunities and secure new accounts in the UK and EU
- Develop and nurture a sales team, providing effective leadership and training
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities, conducting market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and customer demands
- Track sales performance, analyse key metrics and prepare regular reports on sales activities and revenue forecasts
- Produce product and company presentations, as well as technical presentations with the support of formulation and research teams
- Oversee the financial performance of the business unit, monitoring expenses and managing budgets to optimise profitability in line with company objectives
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows and conferences, promoting the company's products and services
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the speciality chemical industry
- Strong background in Chemistry or related sciences, with technical proficiency in this area
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new market opportunities and drive new business and customers
- Exceptional managerial and leadership skills, with the capacity to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high interpersonal competence and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently under remote management, with proficiency in Microsoft software and technology
