Job Title: Inclusion and Literacy Assistant

Newcastle School for Boys, a prestigious independent school in the north east of England, is seeking an experienced Inclusion and Literacy Assistant to join its Senior School team. This engaging role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the educational journey of our students, while contributing to the school's commitment to providing an outstanding education for boys aged 3-18.

About the Role:
This full-time position involves supporting students with literacy and/or dyslexia, working closely with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in and experience of supporting students with literacy and/or dyslexia, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with literacy and/or dyslexia, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques
* Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
* Work closely with other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of support services
* Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and shared understanding of student needs
