Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's business and contribute to their continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and customer specifications.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors to ensure high standards of quality and compliance throughout the supply chain and production processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production operatives to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement training plans to ensure operatives have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis of quality data to senior management teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management experience in a quality assurance role.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Timber industry experience or experience working with wood machinery or caravan building would be advantageous.

  • Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.
