Level 3 Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Apprentice to join our team at Girlings & Co. As a Payroll Apprentice, you will play a vital role in processing payroll, issuing payslips, creating reports, and using Sage software. You will also have the opportunity to achieve a level 3 qualification with EMA.
Responsibilities:- Process payroll every pay period
- Maintain payroll processing system and records
- Compute employee take-home pay
- Answer staff questions about wages and deductions
- Coordinate requests for leave and other absences
- Handle changes in exemptions and job titles
- Comply with payroll policies and HMRC laws and regulations
- Resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
- Honour confidentiality of employees' pay records
- Complete payroll reports
- Calculate PAYE taxes and National Insurance contributions
- Distribute wages through online or email payslips
This role offers a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, plus the opportunity to gain a level 3 qualification with EMA. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role.
