Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our conservation programmes team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering community engagement projects that promote ocean conservation and sustainable living.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong track record of designing, planning, and delivering complex projects, including resourcing and budgeting responsibility.
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a cross-organisational delivery team.
  • Proven people management experience, including providing positive and constructive line management support.
  • A detailed understanding of the community engagement sector and a keen interest in environmental conservation.
  • The ability to apply robust monitoring and evaluation strategies for community engagement projects.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £30,500 - £34,500 per annum, plus benefits including annual leave starting at 25 days per year (plus Bank Holidays), increasing with service, and 6% employer contributions to our stakeholder pension scheme.
