Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Specialist to join our team in Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service. As an on-call firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies and engaging with your community.
The salary for this role is approximately £54 per hour, reflecting the demands and challenges associated with being 'on call'. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the need for flexibility and reliability.
About the Role:- You will be part of a diverse team of exceptional individuals who come from all areas of the community.
- You will receive comprehensive training and learn about emergency situations, as well as additional personal skills.
- You will be involved in a wide variety of situations, ranging from community fire safety to retrieving animals from awkward situations.
This role requires you to work and/or live within 4 minutes of the Fire Station to ensure quick and safe response times.
Please note that this post is subject to a Standard DBS Check.
Requirements:- You must be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident.
