About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker for the Elderly to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that is as varied as it is rewarding. You may be responsible for assisting with food and drink, following care plans, or simply spending quality time with our residents. About the Role

As a Support Worker for the Elderly, you will assist with daily living tasks, provide emotional support, and help residents maintain their independence. Your ability to empathize with our residents and their families will shine through, but above all, you will have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support. In return, we will provide all the training you need to thrive in your role. You must also be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. In return, we will provide all the training you need to thrive in your role. You must also be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
